The goal of the Convergence is to strengthen organizing efforts, connect with local campaigns and projects, and build relationships across our movement to stop shale gas extraction and infrastructure. Participants will learn about the long history of resistance in northeast Pennsylvania, gain valuable organizing skills, see shale gas extraction and infrastructure first hand, hear from impacted residents in the shalefields, and participate in a powerful action. Those interested can remain in the area for more in depth training and volunteer with our current campaigns.
