Notes
This plant began burning wood as a secondary fuel. Burning biomass (in this case wood) will help NV Energy reach the state renewable energy standard. However, many oppose this plant burning wood or other biomass. Many are also angry and disappointed that the wood is taken from the Kaibab National Forest to supply the plant.

There is a wet coal ash impoundment on site.
