In 2005 this plant was in the feasibility stage. The plant was to come online in 2011. The IGCC plant was to feed Agrium's fertilizer plant, which now runs at half capacity because of spikes in natural gas prices (which it relies on). The plant would use coal from a nearby coalfield.
