Notes
"Cheyenne, Wyo. city officials are looking at different alternatives to building a new landfill before its current site is full. The city is considering converting its trash into electricity and ethanol. Officials are in final negotiations with Missouri-based Renewable Utilities Development Corporation on building a plant that would convert garbage into a gas, which then could be used to generate electricity or refined into ethanol. Building the facility would cost over $130 million versus $35 million for a new landfill."
