Burning a blend of agriculture and plant seed byproducts, including oat hulls, sunflower hulls, wood chips, sawdust, and other items.

The plant will burn source-oat hulls from GM's cereal processing plant. Half the power will be sold to Xcel. Waste heat will be used by the Rahr Malting plant. The plant is adjacent to the Rahr Malting plant.

Electric power generated averages 12.5MW, and 220,000 pounds/hour steam.

A partnership between the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community and Rahr Malting Company.

This will be a CHP plant. The plant will be located adjacent to the Rahr Malting Company. To use a suspension boiler.
